Introducing UMI SPA

When our editorial desk compiled the Al Raha Beach listings, UMI SPA was one of the luxury spa venues pulled in from Google. The public rating 4.0★ from 42 Google reviews is Google's own; we'd call that competitive for Al Raha Beach, with limited feedback so far backing it. The venue operates mixed-gender.

Al Raha Beach-scene context: UMI SPA appears alongside 17 listed venues on our index. 16 of those (this one included) run luxury spa.

In this profile: 4.0★ from 42 Google reviews, 5 photographs of the venue (imported from Google Business with photographer attribution), nearby alternatives. Data from the Google Business profile, last refreshed 2026-06-02.

What the visit feels like

Many day spas provide a robe and slippers, a short consultation form and a few words of aftercare advice. All in, a 60-minute treatment tends to take around 90 minutes door to door. UMI SPA can tell you what it provides when you message.

One concrete piece of advice: tell the therapist exactly what you want from the treatment. "Stress relief", "muscle recovery" and "general relaxation" lead to genuinely different work. Pressure preference comes next, then any allergies to oils or scents. If language matters, ask UMI SPA on WhatsApp before you book.

Visiting Abu Dhabi from Germany and found UMI spa over the Google reviews and so I decided to help out the spa for they truly are a very professional and also friendly business! I have been to spas around the world and this truly was one of my favorite! I had the honor of being treated by Lucky and not only is she kind, patient, speaks great English and has a sense of humor; she is also one of the best masseuses I have ever had! She knew how all the technical skills of the traditional Thai massage ”really a technician" and I left there with my pain gone. No exaggerating, my pain was gone by morning! I will only go to UMI Spa after my experience and I am so grateful I found this business! I only wish I had this Spa in Germany! Once again I can only impress how amazing Lucky was at the traditional Thai massage and highly recommend her skill set! Thank you UMI SPA!!! Christian from Berlin Germany!

Local know-how

The practical stuff

What to prepare, what happens during, and how to recover — the practical pipeline.

1

How to book

Booking UMI SPA: WhatsApp the team with a date, time and treatment, and wait for their written confirmation before heading over. Be on site 10 minutes early for the changing room, paperwork and therapist consultation. Booking ahead is recommended; walk-ins are inconsistent.

2

Payment and gratuity

Cash, debit and credit are typically accepted; WhatsApp to confirm Apple Pay or a specific card type before arriving. Tipping isn't required but appreciated — 10–15% of the treatment price for great service is the local standard. Cash tips handed directly to the therapist are common.

3

What to do after

Post-treatment: drink water aggressively, eat light, avoid intense exercise for 12 hours. After a facial, no new products that evening. The peak feeling is usually 12–24 hours after the treatment, not immediately.
