Spalist's editorial principles

Where listing data comes from

Every listing on Spalist is built from the venue's public Google Business profile — address, phone, opening hours, photos, Google rating and review count. Spalist doesn't inspect venues; owners can claim their listing to confirm its details, and readers can report errors for correction.

Pay-for-placement disclosure

Featured placement is paid (AED 500/month) and clearly marked with a chip on every card. Owner-verified (AED 99/month) means the owner has confirmed the listing's details. Neither changes the ranking on /top or /guides pages, which uses Google rating weighted by review volume.

Owner relationships

We accept listing fees from venues. We do not accept commission on bookings, paid 'top of guide' positions inside editorial features, or marketing budget that's contingent on coverage tone. Spa owners can WhatsApp the editorial team to flag inaccuracies; we aim to publish corrections inside 48 hours.
